NADRA is hiring again, and this round is aimed at candidates in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s merged districts. The National Database and Registration Authority, under the Ministry of Interior, has announced contract positions for Junior Executive (Data Entry Operator) and Deputy Superintendent at its offices in North Waziristan, Tank, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, D.I. Khan, and South Waziristan (Lower and Upper). The last date to apply is 18 October 2026.
Positions and eligibility
The Junior Executive post is the entry point: you need Intermediate or A-Level from a recognized board, plus one year of relevant experience, and you must be between 18 and 25 years old. For Deputy Superintendent, the bar is higher — a Bachelor’s degree and eight years of relevant experience. Both positions are on a contract basis, extendable based on performance and requirement.
One thing worth knowing before you apply: these are location-specific posts. If you are applying from outside these districts, be honest with yourself about whether you can actually relocate and serve there, because NADRA generally posts people where the vacancy is.
How to apply
Applications are accepted online only at the official NADRA careers portal: careers.nadra.gov.pk. Create your profile, fill in your education and experience exactly as they appear on your documents, and submit before the deadline. There is no need — and no benefit — in visiting any office or paying anyone to “process” your application. Shortlisted candidates are contacted by NADRA directly.
My honest take
The Junior Executive post is a genuinely good break for Intermediate-pass youth in these districts — government-sector experience at that age carries weight everywhere later, whether you stay in NADRA or move on. The one-year experience clause is where most applicants will trip, so if you have done data entry, office, or computer-operator work anywhere, document it properly. And a warning I give on every NADRA post: the only real application page is the official careers portal above. Anyone charging you a fee to “apply at NADRA” is running a scam.
